Dr. Mia Best is a board certified general pediatrician with expertise in child and adolescent mental health. She received her B. S in Biology with Summa Cum Laude honors. She graduated medical school at The Brody School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Florida. She has special interests in eliminating health disparities and inequalities at multiple social-ecological levels. Her passion is providing patient centered holistic care.
She is currently pursuing a MPH with a concentration of behavioral and social science. Her hobbies include spending time with her 2 kids, traveling, and writing children’s books.

It's that time of the year and Mansfield Pediatrics is here to help keep your children healthy. Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccine is available now for babies up to 8 months old at our office.

Almost all children get RSV at least once before they are 2 years old. For most healthy children, RSV is like a cold. But some children get very sick with RSV. Learn the symptoms and how to protect your child.

Dr. Shari McConville (Dr. Mac) graduated in 1995 from the University Health Science Center of Texas at San Antonio with her MD degree. Dr. Mac went on to complete her pediatric residency with the USAF at Wilford Hall Medical Center. After working as the staff pediatrician at Pope AFB in North Carolina, she returned to North Texas in 2003, where she has been practicing pediatrics for the past 20 years.

Michelle O’Connor, APRN-CPNP is a native-born Texan who has practiced in the Metroplex area for over 24 years. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Texas at Arlington in 1987. She has worked as a neonatal intensive care nurse for 12 years prior to obtaining her Masters of Science in Nursing at Texas Women’s University in Dallas. Mrs. O’Connor joined Mansfield Pediatrics in 2018.

Dr. Kinney has over forty years’ experience in clinical practice and medical education, joining Mansfield Pediatrics in 2017.

She attended medical school at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 1991. Upon completion of her pediatric training at Kosair Children’s Hospital, she began practicing in the Arlington area. Dr. Burton is a physician owner of Mansfield Pediatrics, PLLC.

Dr. Kerstin Archer is a native Texan, educated at Texas A & M University and UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. She has practiced general pediatrics in north Texas since 1986 and is a physician owner of Mansfield Pediatrics, PLLC.

"Dr. Archer is awesome. She's sweet, caring, knowledgeable and super patient. She takes time to listen and answer all of your concerns. I like how she takes notes everything and provides specific instructions for parents after every visit. My kids are always happy and excited to see Dr. Archer and I don't know why my kids got much better after seeing her!! even though they were not prescribed any med. I feel like she had a "magic" that could help parents feel eased and make sure parents understand the expectations/treatments after talking to her. She is down to earth!!
