This weekend, Therapy Excellence had the pleasure of hosting an Institute of Physical Art Functional Mobilization course at our South Arlington location! We loved welcoming clinicians from across the country for a weekend of hands-on learning, collaboration, and professional growth. Our team expanded their skills in soft tissue mobilization and functional assessment to continue delivering excellent, hands-on care to our community.

Help us give a big Therapy Excellence welcome to April Rew, PT, DPT who recently joined our Mansfield clinic!

April discovered her passion for Physical Therapy while working as a tech at Texas A&M’s student health center—and she’s been changing lives ever since. She went on to earn her DPT from Angelo State University, where she was recognized for clinical excellence.

She loves working with pre- and post-op patients, and has a special interest in concussion care and vestibular rehab—she’s even planning to pursue her specialist certification this fall!

A Timberview High grad (Go Wolves! 🐺), April is excited to give back to the community that raised her. When she’s not in the clinic, April loves collecting vinyl records, enjoying live music, and exploring her creative side through photography and writing her first book. She also spends lots of time outdoors hiking and camping with her husband, toddler, and pup. With a thrill-seeking 3-year-old, their family adventures often include theme parks and trips, especially since they are big Disney and Universal Studios fans!
