We made some fun textured jellyfish paintings on our yoga trip to Hawaii! After surfing, building sand castles, and exploring volcano National park during yoga, we find our zen painting. Art can be frustrating for our little perfectionists, and watercolor painting is a great way to learn to let go and experiment a bit!

Why Yogi Cubs?

When I first started practicing yoga I was surprised by the positive impact it made on my mindset. I often wonder how different things might have been if I had started my practice as a child. Who would I be today? Would I have handled those difficult moments better? I started looking for yoga programs for my daughter so she would be better equipped to handle life than I was growing up. I wanted a program built for children, not one where parents could bring their children to their own classes. I wanted something fun that she would not start dreading after a few weeks. I wanted something flexible because it is so hard for us to fit extra activities into our lives.

Most importantly, I wanted something real. A place where my daughter would feel a sense of belonging while being her true self.

I completed a 95 hour RCYT teacher training program with Yogees Yoga 4 Kids so I could teach yoga classes developed JUST FOR KIDS!
