Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services specializes in providing home health services to the southcoast area as well as a large demographic area across the state of Massachusetts. Our purpose is to serve individuals in the comfort of their own homes by providing top quality care by our rehabilitative and nursing professionals.
The major advantage to home health care is that seniors get to “age in place” in the comfort of their own homes, surrounded by what is familiar and with their families and friends near. The goal of home health care is to help individuals to improve function and live with greater independence and to promote the client’s optimal health and well being to avoid hospitalization or admission to long-term care institutions.
Our team consists of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and nurses who serve to provide compassion, understanding and excellence to ensure a safe home environment, optimal independence, and tools to succeed in the future to remain in the home, with dignity and respect to privacy.
The multitude of health care workers who make up the Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services team focus on your needs, provide support to loved ones, and educate care takers to provide optimal care at all times.
There are many situations in which an individual may benefit from Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services.
Following a hospitalization, or a stay at a skilled nursing facility- to help the individual transition back to independence at home
When and individual has had a recent medication change, in order to monitor for potential side effects and assure a new medication is effective
When an individual experiences an overall decline in function (walking, getting washed and dressed, climbing stairs, using the toilet or tub, cooking, etc.) - in order to help them regain independence through therapy or learning new skills to compensate for their deficit
When an individual has skin irritation, a wound, has had a fall, or needs modification to the home to maximize safety and prevent further falls
When an individual could benefit from a mobility device, or equipment around the house to assure optimal safety/ fall prevention
When an individual experiences decreased balance, strength and endurance
Our team at Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services want you to succeed in your home! Please call 877-242-8771 for more information or to initiate a referral. We will be glad to help at anytime
