This afternoon's practice will be a soft place to land: slow breath, simple shapes, and permission to feel what you feel while your nervous system remembers moments of safety and ease. Join me at 4:30.

Are you still feeling in recovery mode from the holidays? Me, too. I've done my 2025 Year-End Audit (https://inspirationlocation.com/), but I'm giving myself time to ease into 2026 slowly, quietly, and intentionally. Gentle yoga, practiced slowly with attention to the breath, helps ground and center me. No frantic rushing, just this moment, then the next, and the next. Join me in the warm, cozy studio, and let me help you recover and reset.

Do you do resolutions? Themes? Words? Or have you had enough of all that nonsense? What about habits, though? Healthy (er) ones? It takes time to lay down a "habit track." Think about a XC skier breaking trail. It takes a lot of effort AT FIRST, but successive runs get easier and faster. You know what I mean? We're doing Ashtanga tonight. Wanna start breaking trail?

We're in the space between endings and beginnings. The Solar New Year begins on February 4th, and the Lunar New Year begins on February 17th. Until then, we are in a limbo of letting go. I just wanted to let you know this is NOT the time for pushing forward. This is the time for clearing, decluttering, letting go, becoming still, and being present. We are in the phase of the deep exhale. Join me this afternoon for a practice that invites you inward and cultivates the exhale. Let's move consciously and tenderly into the tightness and create more space.

It's a little sloppy out there today, but I hope you can join me tonight for this last class of the year. Please dress in comfy clothes and enjoy a gentle hour of stretches and soft breathwork. Remember, you can always Zoom in from home! I'll leave a link in the comments! Merry Christmas, everyone! See you in the New Year!

Tonight and tomorrow will be the last 2 classes for 2025! Tonight we'll practice Cardio, Core, and Contemplation, and tomorrow we'll close out the year with Gentle Yoga, as is fitting. Thank you to everyone who has come into the room to practice, and to everyone who has joined via Zoom. I am especially impressed with all you are practicing at home with the Online Library.
Thank you!! I speak for myself when I say that yoga has gotten me through this weird year with equanimity, poise, and balance, and I hope it has done the same for you. I am beyond grateful to this amazing community. If I don't see you before the holidays, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! The studio will reopen on Friday. January 2nd for Happy Hour Yoga--as is fitting! Namaste and Love, Kath

What if a single smiling honeymoon photograph turned out to hide a lifetime of secrets, betrayals, and impossible choices? In “Indignity,” Lea Ypi turns her own family history into a gripping investigation that races through war, dictatorship, and revolution to ask how well we ever know the people we love—and what we owe them once we learn the truth.

Get a copy and join us on January 11 for the discussion.
