Hope Restored Counseling I’m a Licensed Professional Christian Counselor committed to helping you learn to navigate those hard places in life where you need help.

My work focuses on helping you develop new behaviors, habits, and mindsets in areas you may be struggling in. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their goals. I’m passionate about creating mental health resources that help restore hope and transform lives, and am interested in participating in workshops, speaking engagements, webinars, and podcasts. Don’t compare your behind the scenes with someone’s highlight reels. Social media is an illusion. The enemy does use it to make us compare, compete and complain. If we are not careful it will poison our well - kill our contentment and peace.

Testimony from client-

I was in a really dark space in life when I came to Hope Restored Counseling. I was experiencing religious burnout, loss, hopelessness, confusion about my purpose, and lots of anxiety and numbness.
I was nervous and wary to be honest, of meeting with a guy counselor who is also a pastor.
But my first session I felt nothing but safe, and almost immediately started feeling Hope again. Mark met me right where I was, in a non judgmental, safe, & loving way. I left feeling like I'd been with Jesus.

Nothing more tragic then Christians who shoot their own wounded..
Seen it done far to often..one of the most common things I deal with in my counseling practice.

They often do so in the name of “love” or “righteousness”
so many people have walked away from faith because of this.. I have seen it with other leaders, people in my counseling office, pastoral counseling and coming into the church..

Jesus says-

Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” John 13:35

What many call love is not love.. Paul defines love..

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7

We can and should do better..this can cause for some who have went through this depression, anxiety, and even panic attacks.
