Yesterday, the Midlothian Police Department - Texas and their Crisis Intervention Unit hosted a mental health symposium as a way to bring together law enforcement professionals, clinicians, educators, advocates, and community partners together to share knowledge, strengthen relationships, and promote best practices in mental health responses. The Hope Place and Lauren Diaz LLC were honored to both attend and host a table at the symposium. We are grateful for the efforts made from all involved to work together for the better of the community.
