Our residents had the BEST day out in Lafayette! 🛍️☀️ We enjoyed a little shopping, lots of laughs, and treated ourselves to the famous soft serve margaritas at Superior Grill 🍹💃 To top it all off, we made a sweet stop at Andy’s for delicious ice cream 🍦❤️

Days filled with fun, friendship, and sweet treats are the best kind of day

Today was one of those perfect days that reminds us how special the little moments can be. ☀️

Our residents enjoyed a beautiful afternoon outside with lunch on the patio, soaking up the sunshine and fresh air. Some spent time fishing, others took relaxing golf cart rides, and we even checked on the potato crop. 🥔🎣

A highlight of the day was Miss Myra hanging clothes out on the line—she shared how it brought back so many sweet memories from her days at home. Moments like these truly warm the heart. 💛

We topped it all off with some delicious Blue Bell ice cream, and for a little extra excitement, we even had a surprise guest—a live bird joined us in the van while loading up! 🐦🍦

Days like today are what it’s all about—creating joy, sharing memories, and making new ones together.

Today’s lunch trip was extra special 💛

The residents chose Cracker Barrel, and it turned into more than just a meal. Mrs. Audrey shared how she and her husband used to eat there often, and you could see the memories come flooding back. Moments like that are truly priceless.

Of course, no trip to Cracker Barrel is complete without a little shopping afterwards 🛍️😊
