How do I avoid ingrown nails?

Answer: Cut your nails straight across to avoid ingrown nails. People tend to want to round off the edges when they cut their nails, and that’s one of the most common ways to end up with pain from ingrown nails. Also, wear shoes with a wide toe box that allow free movement for your toes. Squeezing your toes into tight shoes can exacerbate ingrown nails.
