Dr. Khalifa is retiring and Dr. Nelson Hu is taking over the practice. Below is a letter from Dr. Hu of New Smile Orthodontics in Tracy. The previous post had a letter from Dr. Khalifa. Welcome, Dr. Hu!

Dear Patients,

I am thrilled to take over Dr. Khalifa’s esteemed orthodontic practice. With a career spanning over two decades, I have been practicing orthodontics since 1997, following my graduation from Northwestern University’s renowned orthodontic program. In 2003, I established my practice, New Smile Orthodontics in Tracy, building a strong reputation for providing exceptional orthodontic care. I am genuinely excited to carry on the torch passed down from Dr. Khalifa, continuing to serve and uplift our cherished Manteca Community. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for transforming smiles, I am dedicated to ensuring the upmost satisfaction of every patient. Together we will embark on a journey towards achieving optimal oral health and a confident, radiant smile.

Dr. Khalifa is retiring and Dr. Nelson Hu is taking over the practice. Below is the letter that Dr. Khalifa sent out to all patients and families. It’s been a pleasure, Dr. Khalifa!

Dear Patients,
After 46 years in orthodontics, I have decided to retire. Many of you have been with me throughout my time in Manteca. I will sincerely miss sharing with you and caring for you and your family, as it has been our relationship that has most meaningful and special to me. I hope you have received as much from me as I have from you.

So it is with mixed feelings that I am retiring. Fortunately, I have an experienced Orthodontist, Dr. Nelson Hu who will be taking over responsibility for your orthodontic treatment. Dr. Hu will continue the same professional care that I have tried to give all my patients. I am comfortable knowing that the trust and confidence you have placed in me will continue with Dr.Hu.

I also want to express my deep appreciation to my dedicated team which has provided me and my patients with attention to detail, personal service, and a caring attitude towards all our patients. They will continue to serve you as before with care, warmth, and a sense of fun. All appointments remained unchanged. If you are overdue for an appointment, please call to schedule an appointment and meet Dr.Hu.

Thank you all so very much for years of dedication to our practice. It has truly been an honor to be entrusted with your orthodontic care. I know that you will give Dr. Hu the same support you have given me.
