Last week, we spotlighted a very special Dahlberg story, but did you know our students also have opportunities to thrive while learning at home? 🤗

Dahlberg’s Blended Learning Program combines in-home Early Intervention Coaching with center-based classes to create a strong foundation for growth. Through home visits, families are supported in building everyday learning opportunities, while center-based experiences help students develop socialization, relationships, and communication skills.

As children reach preschool age, they transition into fully center-based learning, building on that early foundation with a more structured academic focus to prepare for kindergarten. 📚

During this third week of , we are celebrating those we serve thriving at home. One of Jonathan's recent goals is to be more involved in the kitchen, and with the help of his residential coordinator Djenabou, he has been smashing that goal! Just last week he enjoyed some homemade broccoli and shrimp alfredo that he made all by himself! 😎🍝

Between our ICF services, supported living, and shared living homes, 240 individuals have the opportunity to call Hattie Larlham their home. We are committed to provide comfort, joy and achievement to those we serve because every person deserves the chance to grow, achieve their goals, and truly feel at home. 🏡

Our Westerville Excel group had a special class this quarter called Pizza Dough Dynasty! They've had the opportunity to visit several different pizza shops this month and try all kinds of different pizzas. It's always a good time learning about the best spots in the area! 🍕

As we continue to learn and grow during , we want to shine a special spotlight on one of our Dahlberg families, Taylor and her son Jaxon. 💛

When Jaxon first came to Dahlberg, he was nonverbal, but through the support of his teachers and the encouragement of fellow students, his personality, exuberance, and expressions have truly come to life. Now nearly five years old, Jaxon is in his final year at Dahlberg. He’s been part of the program since he was just two years old, and soon he’ll take his next big step, starting kindergarten! 🏫

Transitions like this can feel overwhelming for both children and parents. But with the support of the Dahlberg team, Taylor says the journey ahead feels a little less daunting and a lot more hopeful.
