We’re still looking for recipes for our 𝘏𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘊𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬 to sell at our annual Holiday Bazaar! Proceeds will support both our 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 and our 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱, helping us spread joy all year long.

We’re collecting your 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗲𝘀 to include in the cookbook. Whether it’s a treasured holiday dish or a simple weeknight favorite, we’d love you to share it! Please submit your recipes by 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.

You can submit your recipes in one of two ways:

I wanted to share an exciting initiative led by Tyler Burges, an Eagle Scout, who is working to enhance The Holiday Retirement Home by creating beautiful flower beds for our residents to enjoy.

In order to bring this vision to life, Tyler is raising funds to cover the necessary materials and supplies.

We’re inviting our staff and Holiday family to participate in this effort if they’re able. Every contribution helps make a meaningful difference in our community.

If would like to participate in either our can drive (cans must be cleaned and dropped off by Saturday 9/20 or Saturday 9/27 OR the partnership with Papa Gino's in Woonsocket- it would mean so much to Tyler & to all of us at The Holiday Retirement Home!

We've got some fantastic events going on this month! 🎉🎶📆

We had a wonderful time at our Family Cookout here at The Holiday! It was an afternoon filled with music, laughter, and togetherness as residents, families, and staff came together to enjoy a beautiful summer night. 🎹🎶🌇

Our amazing dietary team prepared and served an array of cookout staples for everyone to enjoy. From the pasta salad to the last bite of burger, it was clear a lot of care went into every detail. We cannot thank them enough for all they do! 🍔🔥🌭

We also could not have done this without our fantastic activities staff for their gracious hosting and for creating such a welcoming, festive atmosphere throughout the event. 🥰🙌🥳

The activity room was full of great conversations, shared memories, feel-good music, and plenty of smiles. It’s always special when we get to connect with families and create moments like these! 💬🫂😁

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year's Family Cookout such a success. We’re already looking forward to the next one! 💙

🇺🇸🎉 Stars, Stripes & Smiles at The Holiday! 🎉🇺🇸

We had such a fantastic celebration of independence, community, and creativity at The Holiday for the 4th of July! Our incredible residents showed off their patriotic spirit during our 4th of July Parade, proudly rolling through the halls with walkers and wheelchairs they decorated earlier in the day.

From red, white, and blue ribbons to festive flags and themed hats, each design reflected the unique spirit of the hands that crafted it. ❤️💙

The joy, laughter, and pride were contagious — a beautiful reminder that the spirit of freedom and fun shines brightly at every age.

We are wishing that everyone had a safe and joyful Independence Day, from all of us at The Holiday!
