Last week, we had the joy of welcoming our friends from New Creations Daycare for our annual Trick-or-Treat visit! Our halls were filled with laughter, smiles, and the sound of over 100 little ones in their costumes making their way through the community.

Our residents loved handing out candy and seeing all the creative outfits — it’s always such a heartwarming reminder of the joy that comes when generations connect. 💕

A Taste of Holiday Tradition. Today we were delighted to welcome Kasey from Griswold Home Care for a heartwarming presentation on one of the Midwest’s most beloved holiday desserts — the Festal Pumpkin Pie! Kasey shared stories about her grandma's history and her grandma’s cherished pumpkin pie recipe — the very one found on the back of the Festal Pumpkin can.

And of course, everyone got to enjoy a slice of that delicious Festal pumpkin pie — the perfect way to kick off the season of gratitude and togetherness.

There’s no better way to celebrate Halloween than surrounded by good friends, great laughs, and a little friendly competition! Our residents dressed up in festive costumes and enjoyed a lively Happy Hour, while our amazing team showed off their creativity in our annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest.

Residents of Havenwood had an unforgettable time stepping back into the golden era of rock ‘n’ roll with The Holy Rocka Rollaz! From Elvis and Buddy Holly to Chuck Berry and Johnny Cash, this Minnesota band brought the energy, the look, and the pure sound of early American rock 'n' roll — just the way it was meant to be heard.

It was an incredible performance that had everyone tapping their toes and reliving some of the best musical memories of the 1950s!
