Dagaz Therapy I am an independent private practice therapist. I provide therapy/counseling to individuals ages 10 and up. All documents can be signed online.

Services Offered: Individual Therapy for Mental Health or Substance Use Disorders, Family Therapy, Parenting Support, and R25 Assessments. DUE to COVID-19, I encourage all existing and potential clients to consider using telehealth for therapy; however, I am happy to provide in-person services as well. Online scheduling makes setting up an appointment easy! No need to print or come in at all if that is your preference.

Join us in welcoming Anders to the team at Dagaz Therapy!

My work is rooted in trauma-informed care, with the belief that change happens through collaboration and curiosity. As much as I wish it were, therapy is not an “instant-cure.” While change can be quick, it is often a longer journey with both forward and backward steps.

I believe that people are complex beings shaped by their experiences. We can only work with what we have been taught, and therapy is about recognizing these patterns and belief systems and learning how to create new ones that serve us better.

My primary modalities include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Play Therapy. I specialize in working with ADHD, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and trauma responses. I also work with children who are struggling with behavioral challenges, including self-injurious behaviors and physical aggression.

I primarily serve children (ages 6+) and adolescents who are navigating mental health difficulties through individual therapy. I also work closely with families to strengthen communication, connection, and support through family therapy.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Liberty University and am completing my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Northern Iowa. My professional background includes experience in residential treatment programs, group homes, crisis stabilization homes, and mobile crisis response.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, crafting, cooking, baking, and spending time with my cat.
