In mid-November, residents attended a Songs of Autum event. We enjoyed some favorite fall snacks: apples and caramel, along with beer, hard cider, or sparkling juice. And we were treated to music by Dave Fruehauf’s Band.

This Veterans Day was a chilly one, but our Arbor Lakes residents braved the cold to honor heroic soldiers at the Maple Grove Veterans Memorial in Central Park. Afterward, we gathered in our community room for a Veterans Day brunch.

Back in September, some of our Arbor Lakes residents ventured to Sweetland Orchard in Webster. The orchard grows, presses, and ferments more than 100 varieties of apples as well as pears and cherries. In addition to enjoying one another’s company, we also enjoyed some sweet snacks and delicious cider!

For our October craft project, residents created their own pumpkin planters. Each design was whimsical and unique, and residents were able to take home their creations for display—just in time for Halloween!

Early last month, we threw a party in our community room for residents celebrating November birthdays—and everyone was invited! We enjoyed music by Duke Zecco, who entertained us with his guitar and vocal harmonies, along with refreshments. And, of course, we had cake. You can’t have a birthday party without cake!
