Chronic low back pain can actually change the muscles that support your spine! πŸ’ͺ

A study of over 200 people found that prolonged inactivity can make back pain last longer. When we move less, fat can build up in a deep spine-supporting muscle called the multifidus. When this muscle isn’t working correctly, your spine gets less support, making pain harder to resolve.
