Todd Corhouse - LPCC,LADC
Todd believes discovering and nurturing genuine hope is foundational to healing, improvement and recovery, in any form. In recovery, Todd blends learned wisdom and lived experiences of trauma and injustice, to remain true to himself. He leans on past experiences, utilizing a person-centered approach to therapy, to navigate the needs of his clients and create a therapeutic combination to meet individual needs.
Trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), he has witnessed the power of skill learning and implementation. He believes that by customizing a plan, DBT influenced or other, to an individual client's needs, can be pivotal to unlocking one's inner strengths and realizing one's true authentic self.
Todd works with adults, age 18+ and is trained to address issues relayed to substance use and abuse, anger management, anxiety, depression and trauma recovery. He earned his Master's in Counseling and Psychological Services and a Graduate Certificate in Addiction Studies from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota with a focus on the co-occurring realm of addiction and mental health.
In his free time, Todd enjoys woodworking, creating intricate sculptures, music, art, nature and spending time with his family and friends.
