Here is how they benefit your fitness and your life.

✅Full body Mobility

As a single movement they force your body to demonstrate full body mobility. This means you will improve all other movement positions if you have the mobility to do the OHS!

✅Shoulder Stability

They build great shoulder stability.💪 By supporting the weight overhead then adding movement your shoulders have to work to stabilize the weight.

So suck it up buttercup😉 and get better at your Overhead Squats!🏋️

Meet Nathan Koep – Curious, competitive, and always chasing progress! 💪

He’s been with Fierce Play since August 2022, and he's all about pushing boundaries and getting better each day.

“I love the feeling after a tough workout—even the cardio ones 😅. Seeing progress in gymnastics movements has been especially rewarding!”

Outside the gym, Nathan’s all about the outdoors—hunting, fishing, camping, hiking—and he’s a certified horror movie enthusiast (Halloween is his jam 🎃🔪).

🍦 Ice cream pick? Vanilla with sprinkles. Classic and undefeated.

🎓 One of his biggest accomplishments? Finishing his MBA during COVID—all while welcoming baby #2 halfway through the program!

What he loves most about Fierce Play? “The friendly but competitive vibe and the knowledgeable coaches who push you to be better.”

Meet Dani Marie - Compassionate, consistent, and crushing it! 💪

She’s been with Fierce Play for about a year and a half, and she’s all about helping others, bettering herself, and showing up for the 6:00 crew 🙌

“I’ve never been confident in lifting before, but Fierce Play made me feel comfortable pushing myself—and I’ve grown so much.”

When she’s not in the gym, you’ll find Dani up north at the family cabin in Crosslake, boating, four-wheeling, having bonfires, or curled up with a good book. 🔥📖

🍦 Ice cream > Froyo (obviously).

🎓 Her biggest accomplishment? Graduating with her Master’s in Social Work and now doing play therapy with kids aged 1–5—a dream years in the making.

💛 What keeps her coming back? “The community. I feel accepted here, and that makes all the difference.”

Her final words? “Keep grinding… but have fun while you do it!”

Meet Rashad – He’s been part of Fierce Play for over 3 years, and if there’s one word to describe him, it’s Unconventional—always pushing past comfort zones and doing things his own way.

💪 “I thought I had the gym figured out… then I joined Fierce Play. Now I’m doing movements I never imagined possible!”

🏃‍♂️ Oh—and he ran the Twin Cities Marathon without training.

When he’s not crushing workouts, he’s involved in his church, watching documentaries, reading, running, or (his favorite) sleeping 😴

💬 What he loves most about Fierce Play? “The community is dope—and the classes actually start on time!”

His advice? “Keep showing up. Even if the workout tries to take your life… you’ll survive. And get to gloat about it later.” 😅
