John 19:30 Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, He bowed His head & gave up His spirit.
…All human history was moving to this one climactic moment: the sacrificial death of Jesus. In Genesis 3 we learned that the serpent would strike the heel of this man & history held its breath, waiting for the promise to be fulfilled. Finally & painfully fulfilled as our Savior gave up His spirit on the cross. He did it for you/me! This sacrifice was the only way our sins could be paid for without our own eternal death. Christ’s death paid the price of our sin. When Jesus said, “It is finished,” He meant there was nothing else to do, nothing left to pay. He paid it all, totally, completely, permanently. The darkest moment ever will soon be turned to glorious light for those who fully trust in Jesus as Lord, Savior, Rock & Redeemer! We thank you & praise You Jesus! ❤️🙏
