Envision your problems as a tall tree, standing directly in front of you. It seems massive, and as you look up, its branches almost touch the sky. Now imagine stepping back to a hilltop and looking down at the same tree. Suddenly, it seems much smaller, as just part of the greater scene around it. That is what I am offering through therapy; Perspective. It can be so easy to get caught up in our own thoughts and lose sight of the world around us. Having another set of ears can help to take in our worries and conflicts, and restructure them in a way that best fits with our values and desires.
