It’s been fun seeing residents enjoying vinyl once again, and even more fun knowing younger generations are rediscovering today's song thanks to its moment in the final season of Stranger Things. Some songs just never go out of style. 💿✨

Lunch at Olive Garden was a success! 🍝

A bunch of smiling faces from The Shores of Lake Phalen wrapped up their meal full of pasta, breadsticks, and great conversation. Let’s just say… after that much pasta, a nap sounds like a very reasonable next activity.

Unfortunately for Laura and Ryan, staff don’t get a post-pasta nap break — they have to go back to work while everyone else dreams of fettuccine. 😄

Our residents have started their own **Thursday Murder Club**, inspired by the book series by Richard Osman and its Netflix film adaptation starring Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan. Each week, they gather to swap theories, solve fictional crimes, and prove that sharp minds only get sharper with time.

If you notice a chalk body outline in the library, don’t worry. It’s all part of the fun. We’re pretty sure everyone made it home safely. 🔎📚

Music therapy in Memory Care is always a beautiful thing to witness. 🎶

Familiar songs spark memories, inspire movement, and brings smiles. It’s amazing how a melody can reconnect us to moments, emotions, and one another.

Our Cardio Drumming class brings the energy every time! 🥁

Residents drum along to upbeat music on exercise balls, building strength, coordination, and cardio endurance all at once. It’s lively, a little loud, and a whole lot of fun!
