Some in-house fun with crafts... succulents & sangria gave us a great excuse (not that we need one!) to enjoy our gorgeous patio and to get our hands in some dirt.

Our first Buddy Program (Memory Care paired with Assisted/ Independent Living residents) High Adventure Club journey was to Road to 250: Arizona Traveling Museum to see the replica of The Liberty Bell! Dilly Bars all around on the bus ride home, of course.

Yippee-ki-yay, what a fantastic cook-out feast we had at our rodeo event. Chef Steven offered us grilled favorites and an entire cowboy buffet with all the fixins. Becky & Co. wet our whistles with some refreshing beverages while entertainer Buck Helton provided the country western tunes. What in tarnation will we do next!?

Our first Buddy Bingo was a success! We paired memory care residents with assisted & independent living residents to play everyone's favorite game all-together.
Special thanks to very popular Bingo Caller Bob from Synergy.

This new Buddy Program aims to benefit La Sonorans of all levels of care. It's a chance for all of us, including staff, to connect and learn about and strengthen our community.

Let the good times roll! We had so much fun on Fat Tuesday with delights around every corner; surprise performance from jazz saxophonist John Hughes, and jambalaya & hurricane cocktails for dinner. In Memory Care, we made personalized masks with our great friend Shawn from Agis 💜💛💚Beads and bling:It's a Mardi Gras thing!

Every Monday at dinner time, we pair an adult beverage with the dinner special. This time we had delicious secret recipe Bloody Mary and Pinot Grigio to go with our baked cod... scrumptious! I wonder what tonight will have, come down at 4pm to find out!!

Our first annual Caregiver Training Fair!

We designed this program to offer engaging and intentional training for caregivers. We also included and required every staff member in all departments in the dementia training portion in order to continue to best serve our residents.

We offered eight different stations of learning through the building;
🚨AZ resident rights with Executive Director Becky
👩‍⚕️TB screening and blood borne pathogen information with Nurse Angela
👩‍💼Admin work room with Business Office Manager Lisette
💗 In-person Dementia Training with Cindy from our resource center
😬 Importance of oral care in disease prevention with Agis
💞 Pain management and end of life care with Hospice of the West
👴🏻 Fall Prevention and Recovery with Bayada
🚿 Showers and per-care/ uti prevention with Casa De La Luz.
