Celebrating Dr. Sandra Thomas & Children's Health Center, P.A.
✨Founder • Leader • Advocate • Healer ✨
Twenty-nine years ago, Dr. Sandra Thomas opened the doors to Children's Health Center, PA in Marble Falls with one mission: to support and uplift children and families in our community through compassionate, quality care. Nearly three decades later, she’s touched countless lives—and now, it’s time to celebrate her well-earned retirement.
As of today, Dr. Thomas will be officially stepping back after a lifetime of dedicated service, tireless passion, and fierce love for the work she does. We have gathered words from those who’ve had the honor to be cared for by her and witness the impact of her vision.
Here are just a few of the beautiful reflections:
🗣️ "THANK YOU DR. SANDRA for the amazing care you have given our five daughters over the last thirty plus years. From milestones to late night emergencies, you always put children first. We are so thankful for having had someone with your expertise that we could trust with the care of our babies. We appreciate your wisdom, compassion, kindness and support over these many years. Your legacy lives on in the children who thrived under your care. You will always be remembered and loved." —Denise & Ervin Cockrell
🗣️ "Dr Sandra took care of my grandsons through all of their childhood. She was always very caring and took care of them through all of their ailments and has continued asking about them until this day. She saved my daughter’s life, without Dr Sandra my daughter would not be here today. She has taken care of her since birth and I always knew she was in the best care. Dr Sandra is a very caring doctor that loves all of her patients and continues to care about them even when they are adults." - Debra McIntire
🗣️ "Dr. Sandra was my pediatrician and I feel so lucky to have had a provider like her advocating for me and my health. I have also been fortunate to have her care for my children and have felt such security knowing they are in her hands. It is because of her passion and impact on my life that I chose a career as a health care provider, and more specifically, serving a rural population. We will miss her SO much but are incredibly happy for her decision to retire after decades of commitment to the community." Love, Ashlyn, Ryan, Ivy, and Pippa
🗣️ "Thank you, Dr. Sandra, for the years spent keeping our children healthy! The dedication to the health of not only my children, but so many other children, will always be appreciated! I wish you the best in your retirement, but know you will be missed!" —Dani Seelig
🗣️ "Dear Dr. Thomas, As I sit down to write this letter, I find myself overwhelmed with gratitude and emotion. Congratulations on your retirement! What a remarkable journey of service, compassion, and dedication you’ve had—and what an impact you’ve made on the lives of so many families, especially mine.
When we moved to Marble Falls, my oldest daughter was just four years old, and my youngest hadn’t even arrived yet. I was a young, single mom doing my best to hold it all together. You were only the second pediatrician my little girl had ever seen—and from the moment we met you, we knew we’d found someone truly special.
When my youngest was born and faced a difficult start, you never hesitated. You watched her closely, ordered tests, scheduled follow-ups, and when things didn’t sit right, you trusted your instincts and sent us to a specialist in Temple. You quite literally saved Hailey’s life. And in doing so, you forever earned our confidence, respect, and love.
You didn’t just treat my girls—you cared for them like they were your own. So much so that when they hit 19 and 20, I practically had to drag them away from your practice. They couldn’t imagine seeing anyone else. Honestly, neither could I.
You’ve been more than a doctor—you’ve been a guardian, a constant, and a quiet hero in the background of our lives.
Now, as you enter retirement, I hope you pour the same passion, grace, and heart into this new chapter as you did into every patient you ever cared for. You’ve earned it a thousand times over.
With deep appreciation and heartfelt congratulations, Andrea Davis"
