This gentle yoga class provides the support for body, mind, and spirit in navigating how we live from moment to moment, day to day, with our deep losses of a loved one, a job, a pet, or any transition.

Grief lives in the body—often in ways we don’t expect.

If you are navigating loss of any kind, you are invited to a free Yoga for Living With Loss class at CareDimensions. This class is open to anyone on the grieving journey, no yoga experience needed. Just bring your curiosity and a bit of courage.

Please join us to explore how grief can show up physically as tightness, fatigue, or a sense of heaviness and how we can begin to soften that “congestion” through breath, gentle movement, meditation, and simple, supportive practices.

This is not about “fixing” grief.
It’s about creating space to feel, release, and be held in a safe, compassionate environment.

All levels welcome
No prior yoga experience needed

I created Yoga for Living With Loss after years of guiding people through grief, transition, and quiet heartbreak—not by fixing it, but by learning how to be with it.

Here, you’ll find:

-gentle yoga-based practices you can do at home
-reflections on loss, change, and healing
-simple ways to soften what feels tight or overwhelming

This space is especially for those of us navigating loss, life transitions, and the subtle shifts that come with time. Anyone moving through grief is welcome here.

Combining gentle yoga postures, exploration of the chakras, guided breathwork, and mindful reflection, the practice offers practical tools to ease stress, restore balance, and cultivate resilience. Grounded in compassion and evidence-informed approaches, it provides a safe framework for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.

In 200 ages, Yoga for Living with Loss explores the chakras, the body’s subtle energy centers, that illuminate where and how grief may be held, and to release that tension through breath and movement.

Sheena Nancy Sarles is a life long student of well-being, a certified Yoga teacher, and a world wide presenter of her created and curated Yoga for Living with Loss™. The losses of her parents, sister, and best friend led her to integrate her yoga practice with her grief. From grief workshops in writing and loss, it became apparent that while grief breaks our hearts, and clouds our thoughts, it also congests in our bodies. She was asked to create a yoga class for healing grief, however, she deeply understands that grief is not healed. We learn to live with our grief.
