This morning, the Marcellus Fire Department was requested for our tracked gator and manpower for assisting emergency services in Buffalo, NY after the winter storm they are enduring. Our two members, Capt. Bobby Mayers (left) and Daniel O’Conner (right), along with our gator left at 3:00 pm and are currently headed to Buffalo, NY. These two will be gone for at least 72 hours, they will be utilizing our gator for escorting and working in conjunction with an ambulance, making house calls, moving patients from the home to an ambulance, house checks on elderly individuals, and anything else they can do to assist. As a department, we couldn’t be more proud.
