Shayla plans to attend Iowa State University to double major in Animal Science and Wildlife & Aquatic Conservation. During high school, she was extremely involved in softball, track, basketball, Marengo FFA Chapter, Iowa Valley Speech, FBLA, student council, NHS, and moreβserving as speech club president and earning multiple all-state nominations. She also volunteered over 200 hours at Safe Haven of Iowa County!
