Ready, set, race! 🏁 We had an absolute blast getting our hearts pumping with this fast-paced challenge! These go-getters jumped in to compete to see who could shuffle the paper under their chair the quickest in our silly leg race. There was laughter, cheering, and lots of friendly competition—who knew a simple piece of paper could turn into such a fun workout?

🌻 August is flying by at Rose Haven! 🌻

We’ve had such a wonderful month filled with laughter, creativity, and togetherness — and the fun isn’t slowing down as we head into the last few weeks of August. Here’s a peek at what’s coming up:

🎨 August 18–24
- Nail Care 💅 and music with Diane 🎶
- Bingo, Leg Races, and Hot Potato games (yes, we’re bringing out our competitive side!)
- Craft Day ✂️, Bible Study, and a sweet Popsicle Social 🍧
- And don’t forget Mystery Trip Friday… where will we go?!

🐾 August 25–31
- Painting 🎨 and a special Dog Treat Making activity 🐶 (with donations going to Safe Haven)
- Sing Alongs, Wine & Cheese Social 🍷🧀, and Nosy Neighbors game night
- Resident Council, Birthday Party celebrations 🎂, and Catholic Mass
- We’ll close the month with Balloon Volleyball and even Axe Throwing (safe & supervised of course!) 🪓🏐

Laughter truly is the best medicine! Residents and staff had a wonderful time with a lighthearted “cheeseball challenge,” where the goal was to see how many cheeseballs we could stick to our partner’s head. The joy, smiles, and laughter made the game a memorable highlight of the day! 😃
