Today, we pause to thank the incredible veterans who call Rose Haven and Marengo home. Your courage, sacrifice, and service have shaped our nation and our community in countless ways.

We are so lucky here in Marengo to be surrounded by such amazing veterans — true heroes who continue to inspire us every day.

Little Halloween Magic at Rose Haven! ✨🧙‍♀️

Our residents got creative this week making paper plate witches — complete with spooky hats, colorful hair, and a lot of laughter! 💜🎨

It’s amazing how a few simple materials and great company can turn into something boo-tiful! 👻

We love seeing everyone’s creativity shine during our Halloween crafts. 🧡🖤

Our activity calendar is full of festive fun—from creative crafts and games to music, baking, and Thanksgiving celebrations. Residents can look forward to events like Thanksgiving Jeopardy, Turkey Trot, and Veterans Day Program.

Let’s make this month one to remember—filled with gratitude, laughter, and warm hearts.

Pick or Treat Fun at Rose Haven!

Things got a little spooky (and very silly!) during our Pick or Treat activity this week! Residents bravely reached their hands through a divider to feel mystery items — from squishy pudding and slippery bananas to gooey mac and cheese and leafy lettuce!

There were laughs, guesses, and a few “ewws!” as everyone tried to figure out what they were touching. It was the perfect mix of tricks and treats — and a whole lot of Halloween fun!
