Exciting things are happening around our building! Step one of exterior remodel is complete. Next up new front door and a fresh new paint! Huge shout out to Bear Creek Design Studio for designing and coordinating all the work to be complete. Also, huge thank you to Marengo, Iowa Community Development and Iowa County Community Development for making this possible with the grant opportunities.

We are so excited to update the exterior of our building!! Thank you City of Marengo, Iowa for the grant monies to help with this project. Can’t wait for Bear Creek Design Studio to get started and make our building beautiful!!

Marengo City Council awarded over $9,000 in Commercial Exterior Grants funds to Switzer & Wilson Counseling Services, 1024 Court Avenue, and Iowa County Abstract LLC, 1048 Court Avenue. The grant monies are intended to encourage business and property owners to enhance building appearance; creating a positive, inviting, and thriving downtown district image that visually encourages persons to spend time in Marengo.

For additional information on this grant, stop in at city hall or view the program details at https://www.marengoiowa.com/grants.html . Funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition to Commercial Exterior Grants, grant monies are available for Business Signage in the downtown district.
