Good Afternoon Facebook Friends and patients of . This is a public service announcement about the harm that acid reflux medications like , Zegerid, , Zantac, , etc are doing to your bodies. They are ELIMINATING ALL OF THE ACID from your stomach. That's right, NOT SOME, ALL OF IT! . Your stomach needs hydrochloric acid to break down protein and carbs. If it can't do it's job, you will start complaining that your "food is getting stuck in your throat" or that you are always feeling full. So your gastroenterologist does an upper endoscopy, tells you that you have some inflammation or the dreaded hiatal hernia and then tells you to STAY ON THE MEDS that are causing these symptoms FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIVES . Are you all aware that these medications should only be used for SIX WEEKS? Then why are some of you and your parents on them for TWENTY YEARS? Ask your physicians please. Try some hot water with lemon and ginger in the morning OR two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in water or on your salad. It will be tough for the first few days as the acid comes raging back. Try to minimize the coffee, tea, soda and alcohol as you are trying to detox off these meds. AND STOP SMOKING! I am tired of seeing the side effects of these drugs ie poor nutrition and osteoporosis day in and day out. Big Pharma makes a fortune as patients suffer from their drugs. Give it a shot. I have Been Specializing in Since 2000, Before The Damaging Women's Health Initiative Study Results Came Out With Disturbing Results That (Synthetic Premarin, Prempro) Hormone Replacement Therapy Increased Women's Risk of Uterine and Breast Cancers, Strokes and Heart Attacks. Since 2002, Doctors From Every Specialty Have Been Jumping on the Bio- Identical Hormone Train and Honestly, It's a Train Wreck. I Have Seen Patients on Oral Lozenges and Troches, Synthetic Oral Therapy Such as Activella ( Jintelli), Patches, Implantable Pellets (Danger, Danger, STAY AWAY! PLEASE Tell Your Friends and Family to STOP GETTING IMPLANTABLE and INJECTABLE ESTROGEN ASAP) and Creams in all strengths. My personal preference is Creams, Patches, and oral Progesterone Capsules. Oral ESTROGEN converts to ESTRONE or E1, which is responsible for the increased risk of breast, ovarian, and uterine cancers and strokes. Please taper off of oral Estradiol by coming off of them slowly and replacing with creams or patches. As for ESTROGEN AND TESTOSTERONE PELLETS, THEY ARE IN A NUTSHELL DANGEROUS. Anything that is surgically implanted into the body and has hormones in it is inherently dangerous. One of my patients, only 53 years old, had Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer after 4 pellet insertions by a Boca Raton gyn . She developed abdominal pain and swellng shortly after the estrogen/testosterone pellet was inserted (by another physician), saw a gastroenterologist, who sent her for a CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis. It showed that both of her ovaries were the size of grapefruits and there were metastases to the pelvis. She needed a hysterectomy and chemotherapy at 52 years old. NO, SHE DID NOT HAVE A FAMILY HISTORY OF OVARIAN CANCER!!
Make Sure That the Doctor Who Prescribes Your Hormone Therapy Reviews the Risks of Hormone Therapy With You: BREAST, OVARIAN, UTERINE CANCER, STROKE, HEART, ATTACK, BLOOD CLOTS AND PULMONARY EMBOLISM. I personally believe that the physician who prescribes you these hormones needs to be able to respond to breast tenderness, vaginal bleeding, and mood disturbances that may occur with therapy. Good morning and subclinical hypothyroid Facebook Friends and patients of . Let's have a discussion about medications for and the role of Iodine and Selenium. When your physician prescribes Synthroid or Levothyroxine, HE/SHE IS ONLY GIVING YOU FREE T4. It is up to your thyroid gland to convert this T4 to that active form T3 or triiodothyronine. A better choice of medication is or which are both dessicated porcine thyroid brands. It is as most identical to our own thyroid gland in that it contains both T3 and T4. Most endocrinologists are hesitant to use dessicated thyroid because they are concerned about how they are produced. Dessicared thyroid is completely safe to use and has been around since the last 1890s before Synthroid was even a thought.
Your physician prescribes you thyroid meds, tells you that your labwork is perfect, yet you are still struggling with weight loss, swelling (puffy eyes, swollen ankles), constipation, dry skin and hair loss. Now you need to think of replenishing IODINE and SELENIUM. Note, you CANNOT use iodine in high doses with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. It may throw you into thyroid storm with tachycardia and an emergency room visit. Be careful. Your thyroid gland and liver need adequate amounts of iodine and selenium to CONVERT INACTIVE T4 TO ACTIVE T3. Ninety Five 95% of the American population is iodine deficient and honestly, how many of you eat Brazil nuts (best source of selenium) daily? Iodine protects the BREAST, UTERUS, OVARIES, THYROID GLAND AND PROSTATE FROM CANCER. It is also a fantastic anti-parasitic! I recommend (made by Optimox) 12.5 mg per day or 12.5 mg bt RLC labs and 200 mg of selenium. Take both with breakfast as the potassium in the I-throid can upset an empty stomach. Amazing things have happened since I started taking I -throid and nearly fifteen years ago. My body temperature warmed up to 98.6 degrees ( my hands and feet used to be freezing), my hair started growing like crazy, nails have stopped breaking and my belly fat went bye bye. Please have your thyroid labs drawn, TSH, free T3, free T4 , Anti-TPO antibodies to rule out Hashimoto's thyroiditis and Reverse T3 if you are taking thyroid medication. Reverse T3 is a molecule that has an iodine molecule attached to it in the wrong place, rendering the free T3 molecule inactive. Please share🥰

Stop eating junk, sugar, fast food and limit alcohol to weekends only. So many of you rely on and for weight loss. Every other one of my patients is on a GLP1 Agonist. Please make sure that you are working out and walking every day while you are taking these medications. I am not opposed to them at all as long as you understand the risks and do the appropriate follow up. You will lose muscle mass instead of fat if you do not. Have your thyroid scanned for nodules and your liver function tests and pancreas (amylase and lipase) checked every 6 months. Since many of you are purchasing GLP1Agonists from compounding pharmacies through an online $299 /month site, you need to ask the online doctor for prescriptions for these VERY NECESSARY TESTS.

Good Morning FB Friends and patients of . THIS POST IS REGARDS THE SIDE EFFECTS OF , including CRESTOR, LIPITOR, , etc.. Two of my patients came in yesterday on statin drugs with cholesterol levels less than 150!! THIS IS TOO LOW, OVERLOOKED BY EVEN THEIR CARDIOLOGISTS AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED!!! Both of them were complaining of leg cramps and memory loss! One of the patients was only 47 years old with a starting cholesterol level of 217! Mine is 220 for goodness sake! Cholesterol is important to every vital organ in our bodies.
I often ask my patients why they were put on these drugs. They either have NO ANSWER AT ALL or tell me that their doctors told them that their cholesterol (not triglycerides) were too high and the statin drugs would help them to prevent heart disease and heart attacks, and strokes. Some of them were actually placed on the statin drug just because THEY HAD A FAMILY HISTORY OF HEART DISEASE. This is just plain negligence and ignorance if you ask me. My uncle was placed on 80 mg of Atorvastatin and woke up in my house one morning screaming in pain. His leg muscles were being broken down by the medication. I stopped it. He ended up dying from congestive heart failure despite the statin drug. Please eat more fish, use real butter and coconut oil. Eat grass fed meat and chicken. Please Eat the Entire Egg including the yolks. A new report shows that the number of children and teenagers staking statin drugs has sharply risen 68% in just FIVE YEARS. Cholesterol is a vital and NECESSARY NUTRIENT that we all need to develop and maintain healthy brains, nervous systems and hearts. Statin drugs artificially LOWER CHOLESTEROL LEVELS and deplete the body of Coenzyme Co Q 10, which may be the single most important nutrient for the functioning heart. How many of your primary care doctors or cardiologist who put you on statins told you about the importance of CoQ10?????? Ok, now for the alarming list of SIDE EFFECTS. Here We Go:

Ladies and gentlemen, when your doctor prescribes you a statin drug, I have now empowered you with the knowledge to ask why anyone would give you such a harmful drug when the risks clearly outweigh the benefits. Good morning everyone. Lets talk about , especially HYDROLYZED COLLAGEN PEPTIDES. Just because and both sell their own brand of , it doesn't mean you should fall for the Hollywood hype. You should also know that the words COLLAGEN PEPTIDES ARE MISLEADING. You are consuming a protein that may or may not be broken down in your stomach acid. Here is what collagen proteins contains.
"COLLAGEN SUPPLEMENTS are made from the collagen found in the connective tissues and cartilage of DEAD animals such as cows, chickens and fish. These products are then chemically processed and mixed with additives that preserve the collagen structure."
There are so few studies done on even (the best broken down form to use according to dermatologists and plastic surgeons) that these supplements are NOT EFFECTIVE and a waste of your money. " The bottom line is that these chicken, beef and even seafood collagen supplements are harvested after the animals have been cut up for food and then modified with chemicals that are harmful to our guts. As soon as these hydrolyzed collagen proteins hit our gut, THEY ARE BROKEN DOWN BY GASTRIC ACID and NEVER REACH THE TARGET ORGANS ie the skin, bones and joints to give use that glowy skin or beautiful hair. Please don't feed into the hype that celebrities are pushing on line.
Stick with chicken or beef . At least the protein in it will help support your organs and bones. Please share.😘

Good morning FB Friends and of .Welcome to another episode of I Can't Make this Sh@ #$!T Up! A hormone patient of mine returned to me yesterday after reading up on Dr. Mary Claire Haver's Estradiol patch and progesterone protocol online. She then finds a gynecologist in Fort Lauderdale (I will not use names. Not my style) who was listed as a physician who practices this "protocol". She had recently had a suspicious breast biopsy which returned Papilloma and dysplasia. While it is not cancer, she is being followed by an oncologist. She brings this up with the physician who of course prescribes my client estradiol patches twice a week with progesterone capsules. My client then says "What about my breast tumor. Don't you think it's dangerous to put me on estradiol patches ?" to which the doctor responded "Are you going to spend your menopausal years worrying about a breast tumor or do you want to sleep better at night?".
She of course high tailed it out of that practice and came back to me after two years. I discussed estradiol vaginal cream and which the other doctor failed to even mention. Luckily I had gotten this client through her worst menopausal symptoms 10 years ago, so her heart and brain were protected by early HRT therapy. The moral of this story is : If you are being gaslit by any doctor, politely decline therapy and find someone who listens. Please share with like minded friends and family. Thank you.🥰

,I want to talk about agonists , , , . I believe that they are truly helping those with diabetes get down to a healthier Hemoglobin A1C and weight. The problem is that everyone, sisters, mothers, friends, kids are ALL USING THESE DRUGS FOR WEIGHT LOSS ONLY, without knowing about the risks, some of these are permanent and very serious. These injectables have become so easily accessible and affordable that anyone can get it now. One of my 70-year-old patients got it from a compounding pharmacy after paying her $189 monthly charge. She had a 5-minute consultation with the online Nurse Practitioner. She was ecstatic that she had finally lost the 30 lbs that she had been struggling to lose for years. Current Status

To all of my patients who are attempting to lose that 20-30 lbs for a wedding, vacation or to fit into that size 8 dress again, please think about your diet, avoid sugar, stop eating in the middle of the night, only drink on weekends and for goodness's sake, EXERCISE DAILY. MAKE THE TIME even though it's hard. I cannot tell you how many and Ozempic bodies I see in my office every day. If you don't keep up with good nutrition, supplements and EXERCISE, YOU ARE SIMPLY GOING TO WASTE MUSCLE!! Good Morning FB Friends and patients of . WAKE UP and read the labels on your facial and . So many of my clients complain of adult onset acne. Be aware that you are putting harmful chemicals directly into your skin and causing irritation, acne and even rosacea and eczema! These are two of the most common facial cleansing products that my clients use daily, and . I could not even read the ingredients on the back of the Neutrogena bottle because of how small the writing is (YES! they do this on purpose!).
