What a colorful Funday Friday we had! Turns out creating a kitchen, in a rainbow fort, to surprise Princess Poppy with a stack of rainbow pancakes at the end of the rock trail is a really great language building and executive functioning activity 🌈🪎🥞

LOVE the creativity in play we see in these kids ❤️

💃Child-led Therapy🕺

✨When you spend 45 minutes discussing sharks, Bluey, and why the plastic spoon is a rocket ship.

✨When you discuss Pokémon with the intensity of a college lecture.

✨When a toy dinosaur, a rock from outside, and a child’s sudden decision to become a firefighter for the next 45 minutes becomes the perfect session.

✨When the answer is “Yes, the frog can absolutely ride the bus to Target, through the sand, and crash off the table onto the floor, while we take a video of the whole scene”

Take ACTION by helping autistic children feel seen and heard by reading books that help them understand themselves and reduce the feelings of isolation.

This is also a wonderful way to teach all children about the unique differences of their friends at school and in the community.
