MODERNA VACCINE UPDATE:
We do not have the covid vaccine, available at this time, in office. We encourage all of our patients 65 years of age or older to go to the event being held this Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the ag center on hwy 90 in Marianna.
The Jackson County Health Department and Jackson Hospital will be working together to vaccinate against Covid 19 from 9 am until 3 pm. If you have any questions please call the Jackson County Health Department.

We will update you as soon as we have information on when the vaccine will be available in our office.

JACKSON HOSPITAL COVID-19 FACILITY UPDATES

April 27, 2020 – Effective Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at 6AM, due to new recommendations by the CDC, Jackson Hospital will require all persons entering the hospital to wear their own personal protective mask during their time in the facility. Visitation at Jackson Hospital is being limited to only the following, one support companion may accompany those patients with special needs, obstetric patients, pediatric patients and special arrangements will be made for end of life situations.

Jackson Hospital continues to implement every measure to protect our staff and community. Please continue practicing good hand hygiene and social distancing to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. If you are not feeling well, please stay home and contact your primary care physician, Jackson Hospital Emergency Department, Chipola Quick Care or the Jackson County Department of Health for further instruction on how to proceed with care.

Thank you everyone who has been using telehealth for your office appointments! We are very encouraged by the number of patients using telehealth during this difficult time. Together we can keep our community healthy!

All of our providers now have work pages and look forward to hearing from you. Please send your provider a friend request in order to use Facebook Messenger for a telehealth visit. Our providers are listed by there names as below:

We are also able able to use facetime and zoom for telehealth visits.

As of Monday, March 30, Kristin Owens, DNP began offering telehealth appointments for patients during our non-business hours. Her patients can now make appointments with her in the evenings and on weekends. The extended appointment hours are in addition to our usual business hours.

All of our other providers will still be available during our normal business hours in the office for in office visits or telemedicine visits. Our goal at Panhandle Family Care is to be there for our patients as much as possible during this health crisis.
