We are proud to recognize Maddie, our incredible Emergency Room Tech, as the recipient of the Sunflower Award—a well-deserved honor for our outstanding support staff!

Since joining us in July 2022, Maddie has been a constant source of strength, compassion, and reliability in our ER. As our longest-serving ER Tech, she brings experience, heart, and an unmatched work ethic to every shift.

One of her coworkers shared it best:
“She ALWAYS goes above and beyond to not only help the nurses but she is exceptional with patients. She is always three steps ahead. She makes everyone’s job better when she is around.”

That’s Maddie—anticipating needs, supporting her team, and delivering exceptional care to every patient she encounters.

Every nomination tells a powerful story, and we are so grateful for the dedication our nursing team brings to our community every single day.

We were honored to take part in today’s Little League Baseball Player Statue Dedication & Sepsis Awareness Event in Maricopa. ⚾❤️

Exceptional Community Hospital – Maricopa Medical Director Dr. Brad Green delivered important remarks on Sepsis Awareness, helping educate families on the signs, symptoms, and the critical importance of early treatment.

Sepsis can happen to anyone — and awareness saves lives. We are proud to stand alongside our community in honoring Tommy’s legacy while continuing the mission to protect and care for our neighbors.

Congratulations to Ashley Bloomer, RN, our Exceptional Community Hospital – Maricopa Employee of the Quarter!

Originally from Louisville, KY, Ashley has been in Arizona for five years and was inspired to become a nurse after the incredible care she received from nurse midwives. This quarter, she’s proud of prioritizing self-care (and reading seven books!) while continuing to grow professionally.

Known for her teamwork, positivity, and fun background as a former milk-goat breeder, Ashley brings compassion and dedication to everything she does. We’re grateful to have her as part of our Exceptional team!
