For I want to just bring some acknowledgment to the raw strength of women. In my relatively short time in birth work, I have seen some incredible things happen. I've seen a first time mom roar her baby earthside after 26+ hours of long hard labor and I've seen a multip momma silently focus her baby out and show me the true power of the mind. Watching all of my clients bring new life into the world is something I don't think I'll ever be worthy of but I am so incredibly amazed by it every single time. am proud to be a woman and I am proud to be working along side of awe-inspiring, strong, and capable women. This one is for you, cheers. 🤍

“I had no idea that was even a thing” is one of my favorite and least favorite things to hear when I am talking to someone about birth.
It’s my favorite because another person become that much more educated in that moment about birth. And my least favorite because… well, everyone should know this.

Did you know…

-You can have a vaginal birth after C-Section! The amount of people that don’t know this is astounding to me.

-You don’t have to birth in a hospital. There are birth centers with midwives and of course home is always an option!

-You can fire your OB or midwife. If you don’t leave your appointments feeling excited and empowered… fire them. Find someone that makes you feel like a badass who is EXCITED to give birth!

-Having a doula can decrease your labor time by about 40mins! 😲

TRAUMA👏🏼FREE👏🏼
That's the most important part in my opinion as a birth doula and the whole reason I became a
doula in the first place. Trauma plays into so
many postpartum issues... PPA, PPD, how you
bond with your baby are all very much affected
by your birth experience. My goal for every birth
as a doula is to lower the risk of trauma as much
as possible for you and your baby. Let's talk
about it.

When siblings are apart of their new brother or sisters birth.. the next generation learns the importance of physiological birth. It normalizes the natural process of bringing life into the world. 🤍
