🩷Community Basket Raffle – Let’s Support CNA Tracy!

We’re opening up our basket raffle to the community to help support our incredible CNA, Tracy Slater, as she recovers from a recent illness. Tracy has cared for so many of our residents with compassion and heart—now it’s our turn to care for her.

• 1 ticket – $1
• 5 tickets – $3
• 10 tickets – $7

🧺 Stop in to our front office and ask to check out the amazing baskets and enter for a chance to win one! Every ticket helps support Tracy during this difficult time.

☀️🌞😎We had a weekend full of fun here at Snyder Memorial! Despite the heat, our residents and visitors came out to enjoy our annual car show on Sunday. The turnout was fantastic—beautiful cars and motorcycles were on display, and everyone enjoyed delicious classic favorites!

We even had special visits from some furry friends who bring lots of smiles and tail wags—our residents always enjoy a little puppy love!

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who helped make this event possible, especially our dedicated volunteers. And congratulations to all of our basket winners!

We truly love seeing our small, rural community come together for events like this—it’s what makes LECOM at Snyder Memorial so special. 🐶🌭🍔☀️😎

Happy Father’s Day!

Today, we honor and celebrate all the incredible fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who have helped shape our lives with their love, wisdom, and strength.

At Snyder Memorial, we are privileged to care for so many remarkable men who have given so much to their families and communities. Your stories, laughter, and resilience continue to inspire us every day.

To make this day extra special, our residents enjoyed classic root beer floats—because every great man deserves a sweet treat and a moment to relax!

To all the dads—past, present, and future—thank you for the legacy you leave behind and the love you share.

Congratulations to Our May Nursing Staff of the Month!

We are proud to recognize the following outstanding team members as our Nursing Staff of the Month for May:

Nickole Viselli, RN
Though Nickole is a newer member of our nursing team, she has already demonstrated exceptional compassion and dedication to our residents. Her willingness to step in wherever help is needed makes her a valuable asset to our facility.

Katie Whitmire, LPN
While we’re currently missing Katie’s smiling presence as she enjoys some well-deserved time off, her commitment to delivering exceptional care has not gone unnoticed. Katie consistently goes above and beyond to ensure our residents receive the highest level of care and attention.

Ann Smith, CNA
Ann is a true morale booster for both staff and residents alike. Her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent rapport with everyone make her an integral part of our team.

There’s nothing quite like the joy a puppy brings — and today, our residents were thrilled to meet Hank, our administrator’s adorable puppy! 🐾💙

The room was filled with smiles, laughter, and warm memories as Hank made his rounds, happily accepting cuddles from everyone. His playful energy and sweet nature brought so much joy — it was truly heartwarming to see the connection he made with our residents.

A big thank you to our administrator for sharing Hank with us. We’re already looking forward to his next visit!
