Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or panicked? Box breathing is a deep breathing technique that can help you cope with troubling situations, sleep better, focus more, and calm down.

Take a deep breath in for four seconds, and hold it for four seconds. Exhale for four seconds, and then hold it for four seconds. Repeat this as many times as you need to feel more relaxed and in control.

Sometimes when a stressor appears throughout our day, we only have a few moments to bring ourselves back to center. Next time you feel anxiety or fear begin the set in, take a few moments and do some box breathing! It just might clear your head so you can move forward as the best version of yourself.
