John Blanchard grew up in California, spending his teen years working in his family-owned automobile business, where he developed his skills sales manager, finance manager, marketing, sales, advertising, and training specialist. After graduating from high school and attending community college in Jacksonville, Florida, Sheryl Lanham launched her career in business development and account management with Water Resources International. An entrepreneur at heart, Sheryl earned her Bachelors in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University in 2000, and has owned three companies over the last three decades. The couple continually educate themselves on health and wellness research and trends, attending seminars and classes for professional knowledge and personal growth, which was how they learned about and became distributors for Vollara with ActivePure Air Purification Systems and the Living Water Alkaline water system in 2020.

John continued to research the market and found that only 6 to 8 percent of families and businesses used any kind of air purification product.
