Tonight at 7:30 PM we gather for Shamanic Hatha Yoga at Holistic Health & Wellness.
During Black History Month, we honor the fullness of our ancestors—not only their activism, but their commitment to wellness, balance, and inner strength. There are photographs of Rosa Parks practicing yoga, reminding us that the woman whose stillness shifted history also tended to her body, breath, and nervous system.
Yoga is not new to Black bodies. Practices of breath, stillness, and embodied awareness have long been tools of survival, resilience, and liberation. Shamanic Hatha Yoga invites us to move slowly, intentionally, and reverently—listening to the wisdom held in the body and honoring those who came before us.
Join us tonight to breathe, ground, and remember.
