Feeling the Monday blues? Sometimes the best thing you can do for your mental health is pause. Taking a few micro-breaks during your day by closing your eyes, breathing deeply, and checking in with your body. This can help reduce stress before it builds. 🌿

ON THE BLOG - When Men Struggle with Eating, Muscularity, and Body Image by Jennifer Oswald, MA, LAPC, NCC

Eating disorders and body dysmorphia aren’t just “women’s issues.” More men than ever are struggling with pressure to achieve the “lean, muscular ideal,” leading to restrictive eating, compulsive exercise, steroid use, and serious mental health risks. By breaking the stigma, creating supportive communities, and encouraging open conversations, we can help boys and men pursue health and strength without shame.

Counseling Group - Connection and Collaboration: Teen Girls' Dinner Group 🥗

Throughout this 8 week counseling group, students will connect and collaborate on topics such as self-care, tools for emotional regulation, ways to navigate stress to feel prepared to take on life stressors, and art therapy, such as painting, bracelet making, and clay, is woven in as a collaborative grounding tool that the teen can hopefully integrate into her daily life.

Dinner will be provided during the group as a source of connection amongst the group. After all, some of the best conversations happen at the dinner table.

The group is led by Alex Kelly and Alexandra Carver, LPC at our Roswell office starting September 27.
