✨ This morning, I received a handwritten note from a patient. What surprised me most was that it included Colossians 3:23.

Since the beginning of this year, I’ve been reading Colossians 3 every single day. It started as a spiritual coaching assignment, but even after the program ended, I continued reading it on my own—especially verse 23. Every time I read it, I reminded myself that this is the heart I need to have when I work, when I’m at the clinic.
Maybe… this is the heart I should carry for the rest of my life as I care for patients.

And today, God sent that very verse back to me—through a patient. Along with the words:
“Sometimes God brings angels into our lives!”
It gave me chills. It felt like heaven speaking right back.

Interestingly, our clinic receives many mentions of angels. In reviews, people often say things like, “Dr. Olivia is an angel” or “Dr.Choi is heaven sent.” There’s no doubt—the anointing of healing truly rests here.

I bless you today in Jesus’ name, that this same anointing would overflow into your life as well. 💜

More than half of my patients seek help for low back pain, and they all share a common symptom: digestive system problems, whether it’s in the stomach or intestines.

This occurs because the back and organs are connected by the psoas muscle. Back pain often results in tension in the psoas muscle, which can lead to stomach or intestinal issues.

Understanding this connection is key. The real issue may be your digestive system! Interestingly, when I treat the digestive system, it often alleviates the low back pain. Makes sense?

A good doctor prescribes sunlight, fresh air, water, a healthy diet, and exercise, but a lazy doctor prescribes medicine.

What happen when you lost the needle?

First of all, it is really rare that the needle from the patient falls off. However, it happened once today and I was not able to find it from the floor.

I had next patient to treat and I had no time to find one single needle from the floor. So I asked Daniel at the front desk to find it.

And this is how he look for the needle.

1. Turn off the light
2. Turn on the flash light (from your phone)
3. Look for anything reflecting light

This way he could find the needle easily! When you do the treatment don’t worry for losing needle. Daniel will find it.

“I drove by myself for the first time” - Vision Problem Patient -

Operating an acupuncture clinic, I see all kinds of patients and I am confident with any kind of disease most of the time. Also it is my passion to heal incurable disease.

And I am not sure if that is the reason I see the most complicated patients all the time. When the patient are depleted of all the method they know, they start seeking for a new method and many times it is acupuncture.

Judy was just like that. She had a vision problem. She could not properly see, and only see the Giant “L” on the eye examining Chart. A few months later, she said that for the first time she could drive to the clinic by herself. And she testified that not only vision but stress level, heart feeling and back pain got better as well.

I was passionate for the acupuncture ever since I was kid and it was this moment I was waiting for, when patient got healed! I feel blessed today!

Guess the most common complaint among patients visiting my acupuncture clinic!

It’s been almost a year since the opening of my acupuncture clinic, and I have seen over 1,000 patients now. Surprisingly, it was not back pain or low back pain, but cancer.

So, I researched some papers from the National Cancer Institute on the relationship between acupuncture and cancer, and why cancer patients are looking for acupuncture.

1. Most of our patients who are on pain medications are trying to get off them because of the side effects.
2. Some patients are on opiates, but there is definitely an awareness of the dangers of opiates, especially for long-term use.
3. In many, but not all cases, participants experienced immediate relief.

Acupuncture really helps cancer patients. If you have a cancer patient around you, consider acupuncture.

I am grateful I found you Olivia. My pain level hase greatly reduced and I have such a good outlook on my life. Thanks for those gifts. This office is so peaceful and your energy is so loving + compassionate. I have been looking for a great acupuncturist for a long time (years) and I have found that in you. I want to take care of my body more because of my visits to you. That is quite an accomplishment for me to say. I believe so strongly in Eastern medicine and alternative medicine and prefer it.
