Recovery DBT

Recovery DBT Psychiatric Mental Health Care & Licensed Professional Counselors in Marietta, GA The 7-week program has a great track record of success.

Recovery DBT is an outstanding mental health resource for those in and around Marietta, Georgia, who want to create meaningful improvements in their daily quality of life. Under the leadership of Iain Halstead, LCSW, the team at Recovery DBT offers a range of services designed to assist patients as they navigate their way to enhanced mental health. Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a form of psychotherapy, commonly called “talk therapy.” The approach is similar to cognitive behavioral therapy but tailored to help people who tend to experience emotions more intensely than most. The practice offers support to people experiencing eating disorders, borderline personality disorder, self-harm, and suicidality. Many people turn to Recovery DBT after numerous attempts to find relief from mental health challenges. The practice also offers an intensive outpatient program for those who are ready to dedicate themselves to achieving measurable improvements in how they feel and function each day. What works for one person won’t always work for the next, but dialectical behavior therapy is an option that helps many people find lasting relief from serious mental health issues and go on to live active, productive, and fulfilling lives. Residents of Marietta, Georgia, who are ready to try a new approach to mental health and wellness should set up a time to come in and meet the Recovery DBT team. Booking options include a simple phone call or a visit to the online scheduling page.

As we come out of August and the long weekend, we have rolled right back into our daily rhythm. But we have to stop and recognize that September is Su***de Prevention Month. A time to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and spread hope.

At Recovery DBT, our DBT Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed to support individuals experiencing suicidal ideation. We are deeply dedicated to walking alongside this population with evidence-based treatment, compassion, and care.

If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available. You are not alone. Together, we can create a future of healing, and hope.

Our adherent DBT IOP isn’t one-size-fits-all.

We offer IOP-5, IOP-4, and IOP-3 days per week, and the right fit depends on where you are in your treatment process.

During your one-on-one intake assessment, we’ll work with you to determine and build a customized treatment plan—including a clinical recommendation and a clear understanding of your insurance benefits.

In many cases, insurance providers recommend beginning with IOP 5 to create a strong foundation, then stepping down over time as care is adjusted. We’ll help guide that transition based on your needs.

Call or text today for a free tour and initial consultation.
