Juneteenth marks the day—June 19, 1865—when the last enslaved African Americans learned of their freedom, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

Today, we honor that moment, reflect on the fight for equality, and recommit to healing and justice.

At Regina’s Safe Alliance, our work is rooted in that legacy—helping to build a world where emotional healing, safety, and dignity are accessible to all survivors of violence.

Happy Juneteenth 2025.

🖤 “Freedom is more than a moment in history—it’s the daily work of healing and reclaiming our worth.”

No card, no day, no gift could ever capture it…
The sleepless nights.
The whispered prayers.
The quiet strength that carried us through.

Behind every step we’ve taken
is a woman who gave everything she had —
her time, her heart, her whole self.

To every mother —
birth mothers, chosen mothers, grandmothers, and aunties —
we see you.
We honor you.
We couldn’t do any of this without you.

Happy Mother’s Day.
You are deeply loved.
You are never forgotten.
You are the heart behind so many stories of strength.
