A sense of loss and grief can come from many different sources: loss of a loved one, a sense of self, opportunity or countless other things. Sometimes, it can be difficult even to acknowledge that you are grieving or know how to manage that sense of grief. In this two hour class, Certified Grief Educator, Certified Grief Yoga Teacher (100hr), 500hr RYT, Jen Herndon will help participants begin to navigate through their feelings of grief and loss. Jen uses journaling prompt cards, yoga asana, pranayama (breathwork), and mindful visualization tools to support students as they work through the Cycle of Positive Transformation (awareness, expression, connection, and surrender). This class is for anyone who wants better to manage feelings of pain, loss or struggle and find a lightened sense of grace and compassion for themselves and others. This is an all-levels asana class. Participants will have an opportunity to journal and should bring a blanket for savasana.
