Our friends from Therapeutic recreation service came to see us today. They sang Christmas carols with us, brought us some adorable gift bags with a precious homemade gift for the residents. Then they joined us for lunch in the dining room. Their smiles were contagious and we loved interacting with these sweet people. Everyone is welcome at Regal Pointe at East Cobb.

In our memory care today we made some delicious graham crackers houses. Add a little frosting, some pretzels, and gumdrops and you have a delicious treat! We liked it so much some of our materials didn't quite make it to the house.

Happy Hour during the holidays is always so special. We get to hear our favorite songs and our favorite Christmas songs! Donny Hammond has a great talent, and everytime he comes, we want him to stay longer. To add to our merry music we had some delicious snacks, including an adorable snowman icecream cake. Every Friday we look forward to our happy hours!

We started the Holiday season out right with decorating some gingerbread men and women. It was so fun to give them some icing clothes and candy buttons. We might have eaten a few before they were finished, but don't worry we won't tell Santa.

We invite our wonderful families to participate in our Adopt A Grandparent gift-giving event this holiday season! Each family member who wishes to join will be lovingly assigned a resident—or multiple residents, if you choose—to “adopt” and surprise with a small gift valued under $20. All gifts will remain anonymous and will be delivered by Santa himself during our Family Christmas Dinner on December 19th. To ensure everything is wrapped and ready for Santa’s visit, please deliver your gifts to the community no later than Wednesday, December 17th. Thank you for helping us bring joy and warmth to our residents this Christmas!
