Happy Holidays!
As we enter the winter holidays season, here is small gift to remind us of the many excellent resources available for our clinical or psychoeducational use and for sharing with our child and teen clients and their caregivers.

The website includes a page titled “24 Ways to Make the Holidays Kid-Friendly.” A helpful addition is the information is grouped by suggestions especially relevant for children and teens with ADHD, autism, sensory issues, and anxiety.

The Child Mind Institute’s 2025 list features nearly two dozen expert-reviewed kids’ books about mental health, chosen from 150 candidates. These books address topics like anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, and grief, with options for all ages from toddlers to teens. The list helps parents and educators find accurate, relatable stories for children. We can explore the titles to discover books for bibliotherapy activities, suggest books for caregivers to share with their children, and consider gifting books to school or classroom libraries because “every child deserves to read a story that they can see themselves in.”
