Team Member Spotlight:

Meet Terry and Darlene Pendley. These two wonderful people have led this company for many years. They embody selflessness and service to others. Terry has been a licensed funeral director since 1978 and served thousands of families in that time. Darlene who worked most of her life as an insurance agent was always there to support Terry and MWD through the years in the office and on services. Together they have achieved great success and created a standard of service that we all still carry on today. Their life has been a symbol of hope and steadiness for those grieving and all those in the community that they live in. Just recently Terry and Darlene celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary and we are all so proud to serve alongside of them.

Meet Gary Teate. He has a servants heart and guides families with Pre-Need Planning. A Georgia resident since 1982, Gary holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Alabama (and yes—big football fan!). He and his wife, Cindy, are active at McEachern United Methodist Church, where they love singing in the choir. He is a very proud father and grandfather!

Meet Terry McLeod. A South Carolina native who’s called Georgia home for 30 years, Terry holds a BA in Music Ed (Newberry) and a Master’s in Music (SBTS). He served as a worship pastor for 33 years. Terry and his wife, Kelly (a Marietta native), love time with their grown kids and many grandkids. Terry enjoys family, Scripture, helping others, good music, audiobooks, and sermons.
