Recovery ❤️‍🩹 healing from our history, our patterns and behaviors that keep us bound to our childhood pain/trauma.
I see a correlation with yoga and recovery. Both a practice to be in the present moment, learning to go with the flow of life until we realize we are once again swimming upstream against our own conditioned way of being. Both offerings invite each of us to be inner directed. I am personally grateful for both guiding me inward to heal and simply be….again and again.

I am a believer in a person can only give away what is inside…from the food we eat, to the conversations we have with ourselves and others, the information we digest , the tv shows we watch + the company we keep.
Miles from being aligned with doing it “correctly”, I do feed my soul inspiration most mornings. My current soul food is newest book Poems & Prayers where this excerpt came from. The book is universally timely to encourage us all to lean into faith, belief and dreams as our reality (page 17) vs what we see on any screen in front of us which has the propensity to drain us in all those categories.
Unplug. Move your body. Breathe and Be. Light up a room. Be Grateful. Laugh out loud. Love deeply. Be brave. Be honest. Be open to what is possible.

I try to pay attention when I light up after reading or hearing something that resonates with my life, my mindset, my heart space. This does 💯.
I carry so often this idea that I fall short of being enough, doing enough, even loving enough.
These are fallacies created by thought patterns woven in the fibers of my being many moons ago, birthing the people pleaser, rescuer or perfectionist.
Yoga is a life line to the present ME, the one who knows I am more than what I think, feel, reason or believe. I simply AM.
Join us this week for movement that has meaning because it brings you home to yourSelf.

Yes we have regular schedule this week as we slide into 🎃ctober and Yes there are some white 🤍spaces in my offerings this month.
One thing that wins above being with you yogis each week, is being with our family 💝 💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝
Reporting back to you from this past week of making a conscious effort to feed my soul empowering info vs mindlessly scrolling and consuming negativity…it helped lighten my mood and my perspective and this enhanced my energy and my relationships.
Allow yoga this week to encourage you to unplug from the external world and all the things you cannot control and plug in to your internal world where your breath will guide you to c a l m and it is the place you have control.

The days I choose to turn my attention inward to meet and greet my body, breath and heart , are the days I understand these words and way of being in the world. The days I don’t pause, I can do the human hustle for acceptance by reducing my thoughts to needing validation from others.
Yoga offers a doorway inward to deepen your connection to body/mind/heart/soul.
