At Sterling Estates East Cobb, we use any excuse to have some fun! We bet most people didn’t know December 9th was National Llama Day, which made it perfect for a “Fa-La-La-Llama” holiday social! Our friends at Wit’s End Llamas and Mocha My Day Coffee were happy to help, and we’ve never seen so many smiles and heard so much laughter!

We have the most wonderful group of veterans at Sterling Estates—including a WW2 veteran, a few Korean War veterans, several who served in the Vietnam War and others who served in various branches of the Armed Forces during their lives! We saluted them all and thanked them for their service on Tuesday! In addition, we also recognized the spouses of military veterans, as we know they made sacrifices too!

Our Friday “Leaf Peeping” outing was to Amicalola Falls with lunch at the Lodge and then on to the Panorama Apple Barn for some delicious treats to take home to Sterling! We were sorry to tell our leaf peepers that there was just no time for hiking on the Appalachian Trail and they would just have to be satisfied with a picture at the visitor center! The leaves were peaking, we were laughing lots and enjoying the beautiful day!
