Vital Tree Co. is Hiring Karmis!

A “Karmi” is an individual who participates in a Karma Yoga work exchange program.

We are seeking 2 Karmi’s to deep clean the studio in rotation with one another weekly. The tasks will be laid out and are simple and clear: cleaning, organizing, and laundry.

In return, this program allows each Karmi to have “Tier 2” membership at no cost. This is 8 classes a month ($120 value).

This program is laid out to help manage the operations efficiently while making yoga more accessible to those who might face financial barriers to regular attendance.

We are excited to welcome to the Vital Tree Co. leadership team! Steph is a 200-hour ERYT, 500-hour RYT, and Certified Baptiste Yoga Leader. She brings nearly a decade of teaching experience and a deep passion for the practice.

Steph began teaching in 2016 and continues to be inspired by the accessibility and transformation that the Baptiste-style of yoga offers — believing that it’s truly for any body and anybody.

Her first class at Vital Tree Co. kicks off on June 28th and she cannot wait to meet you!!

In reflection of Mother’s Day.

I found yoga long before I became a Mom and I am so glad that I did. I could have never imagined how much I would rely on this practice in the throws of motherhood.

I don’t talk a whole lot about the mental and spiritual aspects of yoga. What I know from having practiced and led thousands of yoga classes is this: If you practice physically, the rest is coming to you.

Being a leader in this community has kept me committed to my own yoga practice. If it were not for this responsibility, I would not have held the space for it. My students and co-leaders keep me accountable and consistent. As a result my body is strong, my head is steady-ish and I have faith.

➡️What if prioritizing your yoga practice was actually an act of service?

➡️What if showing up for yourself set an example and inspired others to do the same?

➡️What if filling someone’s cup also filled your own?

I can’t thank you all enough for allowing me to do what I love, and for taking care of me over the past 9 years of being a Mom and entrepreneur.

I invite you to shift the priority of your own practice. To consider a role as a leader in your own life and our community.

Teacher Training begins this Fall and the timing is perfect!
