Spring in Atlanta is beautiful — but it comes with a side of pollen. 😷
If your loved one struggles with allergies this time of year, you’re not alone. These four tips can make a big difference in helping seniors breathe a little easier this season.

Need a hand keeping your parent or grandparent comfortable at home? That’s what we’re here for. 💛

Here are a few ways to help your loved ones stay comfortable this spring:

1. Keep windows closed. As tempting as it is to let the breeze in, open windows invite pollen inside. A good air purifier can help, too.

2. Rinse off after walks. If your loved one enjoys getting outside, that’s great! Just encourage a quick rinse-off or change of clothes after — pollen clings to fabric and hair.

3. Clean filters and vents. Make sure HVAC systems are clean and running well. We often help families coordinate basic home maintenance — it’s worth it this time of year.

4. Watch for symptoms. If your loved one is coughing more than usual or seems extra tired, it might not just be allergies. We’re always happy to check in and help assess what’s going on.

April can be beautiful in Georgia, but it’s also a good time to stay proactive about health. Our caregivers are trained to spot allergy symptoms early and help keep your loved one safe and comfortable.
