Meet Ashlyn, the sweetest 7 year old, who was stuck in a storm of stress with a diagnosis of PANS/PANDAS - the most obvious signs and symptoms for her were sensory issues, anxiety, ticks, OCD and digestion issues 🥺

Mom brought her in looking for a route that was more natural and didn’t include just medications, the biggest goals mom had for her was less OCD, less anxiety, increased productivity and better digestion.

We performed a thorough neurological based exam using our state of the art scans to get a look into her nervous system and designed a care plan that was specific to her needs ✨

This sweet angel has been under our care for almost 3 months, when she first started mom had to hold her during her adjustment and now not only does she lay down on the table on her own but she makes sure meow meow gets adjusted first ♥️

Afiyah went from having episodes of hitting herself, not being social, to now thriving, wanting more time at preschool, talking and becoming in tune with her body ✨

We cannot wait to see the progress she continues to make!

Dr. Katheryne has been regularly adjusting Lyric since she was in 8th grade, and today she received her “last” regular (weekly) adjustment as she is going off to college 🫶🏼

It’s a bittersweet moment, but we are also so honored to be a part of these milestones and one of the reasons we love what we do as a family practice.

It’s number 5 for us! 👏 Why? We know that ADHD + SPD are brain and nervous system-based disorders. While conventional medicine and your traditional pediatrician may still blame a genetic imbalance of neurotransmitters, that limited scientific theory is rather outdated and incomplete. 🫠

Sensory Processing Disorder really does affect the whole family. 😣 It stops kids from enjoying the little things like a new outfit all the way to making memories at Disney World.
