This sweet lady, a beloved resident at The Birches of Villa Rica. She just celebrated her 100th birthday on July 21st!
A few days before her birthday, on July 17th, her volunteer Kim asked what she would like to do for her milestone celebration. She shared that she had a special tradition—each year she enjoys a pina colada cake, her absolute favorite.
She gave Kim the recipe along with step-by-step instructions, and Kim lovingly baked the cake herself. On her birthday, she surprised her with it! The family was touched, not only by the cake, but by the beautiful connection between her and her volunteer. They were overjoyed that her birthday was remembered and celebrated in such a heartfelt way.💙🎂💛🎂💙
